Dr. Anne Robinson’s experimental art practice is concerned with the perception and politics of time passing: working with duration, frame, exposure, sound and movement. She holds a practice-led PhD in Fine Art entitled The Elusive Digital Frame and the Elastiity of Time in Painting and is the author of several papers and articles on temporality in art, including a forthcoming piece on Auerbach for the Journal of Contemporary Painting. Recent film works include Thrashing in the Static (2014) shown in Folkestone, Deptford, Hong Kong and Singapore and Inside Out Blues (2013), on ‘Counterproductions’ residency in Marseilles. Curatorial projects include: Over Time (2014) on the Thames foreshore and at the National Maritime Museum and Supernormal Festival (2011-15).
